Description

The Business Development Specialist is responsible for driving product adoption, supporting clients, and strengthening market presence. They introduce new product features, assist with technical issues, and provide training to improve client proficiency.

They also gather customer feedback to support product improvements and work closely with sales teams to understand client needs, plan projects, and assess risks. Their role includes supporting project execution, preparing tender documents, and coordinating technical resources.

Additionally, they build relationships with third-party partners and collaborate with marketing to promote products, increase market awareness, and collect valuable customer insights.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
  • Additional technical education or certifications related to the technology industry
  • Comprehensive understanding of the technology industry, including products, services, and emerging trends.
  • Awareness of current market trends and the ability to anticipate future developments in the technology sector
  • Understanding of sales and marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.
  • Knowledge of project management principles, including planning, execution, and risk assessment.
  • Experience with CRM tools and strategies to manage and enhance customer relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills related to technological issues and client concerns.
  • Awareness of legal and compliance standards relevant to project work and client interactions.
  • Knowledge of resource allocation and management, including technology support.
  • Skills in conducting market research to recognize and aggregate consumer product demand.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with sales representatives, marketing teams, and technical staff.
  • Proficiency in negotiation skills for project tenders and client interactions.
  • Commitment to ethical conduct and adherence to industry standards.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess client demands and contribute valuable insights to product development.
