Position Summary

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Local Unskilled Personnel to support construction, assembly, installation, and general site activities. While this is an entry-level/unskilled position, candidates must have verifiable prior experience working on construction sites, industrial projects, assembly operations, or similar environments.

The successful candidates will assist skilled tradespersons and project teams by performing general labour duties while adhering to all safety, quality, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

-Assist with general construction, assembly, installation, and site preparation activities.

-Support skilled workers, technicians, and supervisors with daily project tasks.

-Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment.

-Perform basic manual labour tasks including cleaning, preparation, and site organization.

-Follow instructions from supervisors and project leads.

-Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

-Assist with equipment handling and basic assembly activities as required.

-Comply with workplace health and safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

-Report any hazards, incidents, or equipment issues to the supervisor.

-Previous experience working on construction sites, industrial projects, assembly work, manufacturing, maintenance, or similar environments.

-Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting materials, and working outdoors when required.

-Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.

-Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

-Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

-Ability to provide references or proof of previous work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

-Experience supporting industrial, mechanical, electrical, fabrication, or installation projects.

-Previous experience using basic hand tools.

-Safety training certification (an asset).

-Experience working in large-scale construction or industrial environments.
